Modern Threats to the First Amendment
The Annual Elizabeth M. Whelan Lecture
Kimberley Strassel '94, Wall Street Journal Editorial Board
Join us for the Annual Elizabeth M. Whelan lecture featuring Kimberley Strassel '94. The First Amendment's traditional protectors are failing, while its new gatekeepers aren't up to the task. This lecture will discuss how to protect free speech in an age of cancel culture, big tech censorship, and government encroachments on liberty.
This event is also part of our Initiative on Freedom of Thought, Inquiry, and Expression.
