Each year, our friends at the Jack Miller Center for Teaching America's Founding Principles honor extraordinary instructors of America's history and founding principles with their Excellence in Civic Education Award.
This year's winners included two members of the Madison Society.
Alan Levine, 2006-07 James Madison Program John M. Olin Visiting Fellow, is the senior scholar winner. He is an Associate Professor of Government at American University and the founder and director of their Political Theory Institute.
Paul Wilford, 2019-2020 James Madison Program Visiting Fellow, is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Boston College.
