Undergraduate Fellow Abigail Anthony '23 has been awarded the John and Daria Barry Scholarship for study at the University of Oxford. The scholarship provides full funding for a minimum of two years of study, including full tuition, a generous living stipend, and yearly stipends for research and travel. An initiative of the Canterbury Institute, the award is generously funded by the John and Daria Barry Foundation.

Ms. Anthony, who majored in Politics and earned certificates in Linguistics and Creative Writing, will pursue a Master of Philosophy in Linguistics, Philology, and Phonetics. At Princeton, she served as President of the Princeton Federalist Society, Chief Copy Editor of The Princeton Tory, Vice President of the Princeton Open Campus Coalition, and Treasurer of the Network of Enlightened Women. Her journalism has appeared in a wide variety of nationally recognized publications including the National Review, USA Today, and the Washington Free Beacon. Prior to her time at Princeton, Abigail was a professional ballerina.
